Yes, PhD students and residents can since 2022 apply to two simultaneous academic courses in Italy. The possibility to enlist in the School of Specialisation format for this degree is available if you are already enrolled in two courses.
Procedure

Candidates with Italian University Degree
- copy of the original University Degree and transcript
- brief CV detailing the candidate’s academic and work experiences to date
- copy of the identity document
- copy of the certificate of proficiency in English
Candidates with Foreign University Degree
- copy of the original University Degree achieved
- a translation in English or Italian of the University Degree achieved
- copy of the official University transcripts
- a translation in English or Italian of the University transcripts

For faraway students (outside Europe)
- If you are coming from far away, we will compact the two Italian modules in a single one of 5 days.
- For the other two modules, we will try to assure you a 50% participation from remote, despite the hands-on experience will not be possible. This means that if you take all the online modules and you travel to 2 in presence modules (the 5 days in Italy and 1 of the other two in-presence) you can get the master title.
Note that the 5 days module in Italy will be activated only if we have more than 5 students from outside Europe.
Requirements and final awarded title
The reason for this Master is to bring together all players of rehabilitation in a common educational program. The Master is aimed at those who work, or intend to work, in hospitals or companies active in the field of rehabilitation and/or home care assistance. To reach this goal we will award different titles at the end of the program depending on the entry title that you have at the enrollment.

Master of Science in Engineering, Economics, Medicine and Surgery (School of Medicine),
Physiotherapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Technologies
will be awarded the
Second Level post-graduate Master in RehabTech – technologies for innovation in rehabilitative medicine and for assistance: from technological innovation to clinical translation and healthcare management. - Students admitted with
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Economics, Rehabilitation Technologies
will be awarded the
First Level post-graduate Master in RehabTech – technologies for innovation in rehabilitative medicine and for assistance: from technological innovation to clinical translation and healthcare management
English proficiency certificate
The knowledge of the English language must be demonstrated through one of the following certifications (the minimum grade required is indicated):

Applicants who do not hold one of the above certifications may also be eligible, provided they have been exposed to extensive educational/professional experiences with English dominant language.
Experience demonstrating a level of English proficiency similar to the minimum required B2 level must be emphasized on the CV.
Applications will be evaluated by the admissions committee, which may possibly require the certificate downstream of matriculation (i.e. to be obtained before the completion of the Master’s program).

Special rates
For the first international edition of the Master, special support for attendance is foreseen according to the evaluation of the Master commission. It is necessary to apply for them during the enrolment phase.
